
- Don't start panic studying on the day - this will only effect what you've already learned.
- Do look at some brief notes or revision cards.
- Arrive for your exam in good time but don't get involved in any potentially stressful exam chit-chat - get yourself in the zone.
- Make sure you've got all the stuff you need - pens, pencils, ruler, calculator, dictionary, etc.
- Give yourself time to settle when you're in - do a breathing exercise before you start reading the questions.
If your mind goes blank....
- Don't panic! Just sit back, close your eyes and take a few deep breaths to calm yourself.
- Try to relax, and when you're ready read the question again. If you can't tackle it now, move on to the next one. Remember, it's better to write something down than to write nothing at all.
